eReader App Available For Android
I bought my first ebook online from Peanut Press back in January of 2000. That company is now called eReader.com and, along with Fictionwise, is owned by Barnes and Noble. I read my purchased books and magazines (57 in total, costing over $400) on a variety of PDAs and Windows smart phones. When I bought my T-Mobile G1 Android phone a year ago, I assumed eReader would have a reader app for it soon. It finally arrived today.
Go to www.ereader.com/android to download the reader app and get instant access to your online bookshelf or purchase additional titles.
The app seems to work fine, although I wish it supported swiping for page changes in addition to the familiar tapping. Otherwise, it does the job and allows for buying legal copies of current books. It’s about time!
