Palm Pre Hits – And Misses
The Palm Pre seems to be a hit, even if there are also problems being reported. As a Palm owner and fanboy going back to the last century, I’m glad to see them pull this one off. Hopefully, the reported problems with screens, etc., will be addressed quickly.
As I’ve said before, Palm should own the smartphone market, but they’ve squandered a huge head start and wasted so much customer loyalty and goodwill that it’s hard to see them ever fully recovering. It looks like the Pre is a step in the right direction, though. If I wasn’t married to T-Mobile and the G1 for the forseeable future…
Of course, I could always just smash my old phone with a hammer.
