Engadget: Apple reports best ever March quarter with a $1.21b profit, calls netbooks “junky”

Well, some netbooks are kinda “junky” compared to expensive laptops — that’s why they’re so affordable. I love my Asus Eee (which I’m using right now), but I’d trade it for an Apple laptop in a second — any takers?

Not everyone needs an aluminum unibody or has 3,000 bucks to spend. But it’s great to see a tech company doing so well in this economy, even if they choose to ignore huge market segments.
