Sylvania G Netbook
If you’ve enjoyed their lighbulbs, now you can buy their netbook for a really good price. The Sylvania G Netbook is just $239 with free shipping from Buy.com.
This re-badged Everex Cloudbook is definitely at the low end, even by netbook standards, but it has a few things going for it. Like a real 30GB hard drive (not a tiny SSD), a 4-in-1 Media Card Reader, 1 gb RAM, webcam, and a sub-2 pound weight. It comes with a customized Linux install called gOS Escape Pod, but should run Windows XP without too much trouble.
I wouldn’t pay any more for it, but $239 sounds like an awesome deal.
